Volunteers

We always welcome volunteers who would like to support the school community. Whether you're interested in hearing children read, helping in the classroom, or assisting with trips and events, your time and enthusiasm can make a real difference.

Volunteer Application Form.

A Massive Thank you!

We have so many kind volunteers. People come into school every week to support with reading, trips, organising the movement of pupils, leading the garden development and the ESA.  You are amazing! We truly couldn’t do what we do without your support.

Thank you for everything you do!

Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer Minibus Drivers

We use minibuses for some of our school trips that do not need a coach or when shuttling children to and from Bingley. We would also like to be able to take children to sporting events so we do not have to ask families to collect and take their child to the event.

 Volunteer Reader

We are always looking for volunteer readers to come into school and support children with reading during school time.

A volunteer reader does not need any qualifications or experience; however, it is a role that requires you to have proficient literacy skills and to be someone who enjoys reading and helping others.

Please see our Volunteer Reader Information Leaflet

Volunteer

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with moving children from their classroom to their musical instrument lessons.

The Music and Arts Service comes to our school to deliver musical instrument lessons. To save time and maximise learning time, we are looking for volunteers.

The role involves: collecting the children from the classroom and taking to their music lesson and then returning children when finished.

Tuesdays between 10:40 and 12:00

Wednesdays between 8:50 and 2:40

Thursday between 9:00 and 10:00

Any time you can spare would be appreciated, you do not need to commit to a full session.

If you are interested in volunteering and you have a DBS through school and could help, please contact the school office to let us know. If you do not have a DBS through school and would still like to help, please complete a Volunteer Application Form and hand it in to the school office.
